HDFC ERGO launches Optima Wellbeing in Hyd

HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company, India’s leading private sector general insurance company has launched Optima Wellbeing in Hyderabad. This unique outpatient department (OPD) subscription plan was initially launched in Mumbai.
Optima Wellbeing is an add-on insurance solution to the Company’s Optima Secure health insurance plan, which is one of the highest-rated health indemnity insurance products in the country, a company release stated.
In India, out-of-pocket medical expenses contribute to over 45 per cent of the total health expenditure. Under the new plan, customers can avail the cashless facility and enjoy unlimited tele & in-person consultations, and free home sample collections along with up to 50 per cent off on diagnostics and medicines.

The company also unveiled insurance-led eco-system, a unique one-stop platform, to address customers’ anxiety on health care motor, and provide them with credible information. Under the health corner, the platform helps the users with personalised health and wellness programmes such as diabetes management techniques, patient-to-patient connect feature where individuals can connect with other volunteers who have undergone similar medical procedures, etc.
